Sony A6000 + 70-350mm lens Performance | Does it work ?

Sony 70-350mm ( SEL70350G ) G Lens is one of the best telephoto lenses you can buy for the crop sensor bodies like A6100, A6400, A6500, etc. This lens is not made for the older Sony A6000 / A5100 bodies, however since it's an E-mount lens, it works fine on those old cameras as well. I have been using the Sony 70-350mm with my A6000 for a few days now. I couldn't test it extensively due to the Covid-19 restrictions, especially how well the Auto-focus works when shooting Sports and Action. However, I will tell you what works and what doesn't and if it's worth pairing it with the A6000.  Sony 70-350mm Price in India: Rs 75,999 MRP ( it sells around Rs 72,999 on Amazon.in ). Image Stabilization Sony 70-350mm has OSS stabilization built-in. It works well on the A6000 without any issues. This lens has a dedicated OSS On/Off switch on the lens itself which you can easily turn on and off when needed. I would suggest you leave it on unless it's on a tripod. Custom Button Th...

Sony Alpha A6000, A6300 or A6500 ? Which one to buy ?

Currently Sony has 3 cameras in Alpha 6000 series - A6000, A6300 and A6500. All these are mirrorless, compact APS-C size cameras and are almost identical in size. Sony A6000 is the oldest one of the bunch. Newer A6300 and A6500 have a lot in common. So which one to buy ? Image quality wise all these variants have similar output. A6300 and A6500 have same identical image sensors. The image quality is slightly better than the older A6000.  Both A6300 and A6500 can shoot 4K videos. A6000 can only do 1080P videos. Sony A6300 has heating issues when recording long 4K videos. Sony has fixed that issue heating issue with A6500. Another advantage A6500 has over A6300 is the 5 axis image stabilization built in to the body. So if you are looking for a great compact camera for Photography, and hardly is gonna shoot 4K videos, then Sony A6000 for much lesser price is the best option. A6000L with 16-50mm lens kit will cost you around Rs 44K now in India ( check here : Amazon.in | ...
