OnePlus 6 Specs - What to Expect

Many of you may not know this, Oppo is the parent company of OnePlus. This means, all OnePlus mobiles are manufactured in Oppo factories. All previous OnePlus flagship mobiles such as OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3 etc resembled Oppo's flagship smartphones launched at that time.  Oppo has just launched R15 - their 2018 flagship smartphone with high end specs and features. OnePlus 6 will have similar specs as the Oppo R15 for sure with a few extra addons. Oppo mobiles ship with Color OS - an Apple iOS inspired UI while OnePlus mobiles ship with Stock Android like UI with some useful additional features and tweaks. The chipset on the R15 is a Mediatek one while the OnePlus will have Snapdragon 845 instead. Last year's flagship phone from OnePlus, OnePlus 5 blatantly copied the looks of Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. This time around, looking at the product images of R15, the design is inspired from iPhone X. So, yes, OnePlus 6 will sport an iPhone X like notch and bezel less screen. E...

Some OnePlus.net Customers Experiencing Credit Card Fraud Issues

On Thursday, a user named superdutynick  posted about strange activity on his two credit cards he used on OnePlus.net for the purchase on OnePlus phones. His both credit cards were hacked, and used for transactions. Thankfully he had fraudulent protection on all his bank cards. This, at first looked like a one off incident, but then a few more forum users came up with similar experiences. Here is what SuperDutyNick said in the Original Post. " I purchased two phones with two different credit cards, first on 11-26-17 and second on 11-28-17. Yesterday I was notified on one of the credit cards of suspected fraudulent activity, I logged onto credit card site and verified that there were several transactions that I did not make. I went through the process and switched accounts... no big deal. Today same thing with the other credit card. I do not use either of those credit cards frequently. The only place that both of those credit cards had been used in the last 6 months was on the...

Things OnePlus should fix in OnePlus 6 to become a True Flagship Smartphone

OnePlus CEO has just revealed the next Flagship Android smartphone from them, OnePlus 6 will launch in June 2018. Both OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 were received very well worldwide. Even though the prices of OnePlus mobiles have gone up comparing to the first generation flagship smartphones from them, it still continues to be the best value for money smartphone you can buy today. In my opinion, there are a few things OnePlus should fix in the upcoming OnePlus 6 to be considered a true flagship. No 1 in the list is the camera. Now, i am not saying OnePlus 5 series smartphones have bad camera. They have good camera for sure, however the competing flagship phones from HTC ( HTC U11 ), Google ( Pixel 2, Pixel 2016 ), Samsung ( Galaxy Note 8 and upcoming Galaxy S9 series ) are ahead when it comes to camera performance.  OnePlus should consider implementing something similar to Zero Shutter Lag HDR+ seen on Google Pixel 2 smartphones. Developers aka Hackers have been modding Google C...
