Smartron is launching Sachin Tendulkar branded phone in India online on Flipkart. Srt Phone launch date is set for May 3rd and the pricing will be announced only at launch. Flipkart already has a teaser page up on their website ( check here ).
Prior to this new srt.phone, Smartron India has only launched one other Android smartphone - t.phone which was priced at Rs 22,999 MRP. So basically, this is a new brand. Pushing out a Sachin Tendulkar branded phone would definitely make Smartron brand more known to the masses in India.
According to the Flipkart teaser page, it will ship with Android 7 Nougat operating system. Info on Camera, battery, Display etc are currently not available.

Srt.Phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octacore processor and comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB storage. Smartron is also offering some kind of Unlimited cloud storage called tCloud.
