Motorola has launched Moto C Plus in India on Flipkart with a massive 4000mAh battery. Official MRP price for this will be announced on June 19th. It is expected to be priced around Rs 7,999 in India online. Motorola aka Lenovo had earlier launched Moto C at a budget price of Rs 5,999. This is a juiced up version of the same.

Moto C Plus Specs and Features
It is powered by MediaTek MT6737 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz processor and comes with 1GB / 2GB ram options. It has a 5 inch HD display and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat. In the camera department, Moto C Plus sports an 8MP F2.2 aperture rear camera and a 2MP F2.8 aperture front shooter. It will be available in Starry Black | Fine Gold | Metallic Cherry colors.
Should you buy Moto C Plus ? Most other smartphone in this price range from Xiaomi like Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 4 etc are powered by better Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 or 625 octacore processors. The front camera on C Plus is just 2MP - that's so 2014. The main reason..or the only reason to buy this phone should be the massive 4000mAh battery on board. It also runs on Stock Android while Xiaomi smartphones run on modified MIUI Android. Full HD 1080P video is NOT supported according to the specs sheet on official Motorola website.
If you are looking for a budget phone, i would recommend you get a Redmi 4 instead as it offers the same 4000mAh battery and better overall features than Moto C Plus. However, Xiaomi is currently selling that as a flash sale every week on Amazon.in, it would be hard to get on the first try, especially the Rs 6,999 priced basic model.
