Redmi Y1 Lite, priced at Rs 6,999 is powered by less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quadcore processor. You only get 2GB ram and 16GB storage with the Lite version. It has the 3080mAh battery seen on Y1 on board. The display and rear camera are also the same. The front camera, however is just 5MP F2.0 one. On Y1, you get a 16MP one.Since the price difference between these two devices are not that big, it is recommended to buy Redmi Y1 instead of the Lite version.
