Canon has officially launched a budget full frame mirrorless camera at an aggressive price - $1299 ( Rs 91,999 MRP Approx ) body only. Canon EOS RP features a 26MP sensor, which is rumored to be the same one used in Canon's 7D Mark 2 DSLR camera launched some time ago. These new cameras feature a different mount ( RF mount ) than those older Canon cameras.
Canon EOS RP will also be available to purchase in India with 24-105mm F4 L lens combo as well.

Overall, if you have been waiting for an entry level Canon mirrorless camera, this is the one for you. It has good overall specs, however Sony Alpha A72 launched a while back, which is priced lower these days, is a better all around camera than this new Canon EOS RP.
