Specs and Features
It's brave of Blackberry to come up with another Phone with a physical keyboard in 2018. When OEMS are finding ways to use 100% screen to give a full view, bezel less experience, Blackberry is going the other way, making phones with keyboards for it's few nostalgic fanboys.
The display is a 4.5 inch one with Full HD resolution. Most devices in 2018 ship with Full HD+ 18:9 or 19:9 displays with a notch. However, BB KEY2 doesn't follow that route. It has a 1080 x 1620 pixels display with 3:2 ratio ( 434 ppi density). It ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with Dtek security apps built in to better protect your privacy. There is a 3500mAh battery on board which should easily last a day of moderate to heavy usage thanks to it's smaller screen.
Should you buy this phone ? In my honest opinion, the only reason for anyone to buy this phones is if you are addicted to BB physical keyboard and have been using last gen KEY1. A lot of features this phone offer are not good for the price. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor which are commonly seen on devices in 20K range. Almost all phones priced around 40K has the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 on board. The Dual Cameras on this - according to reviewers online - is just average. So basically, Blackberry Key2 is not a value for money option at all in my honest opinion.
