Vivo mobiles has just launched their flagship smartphone Vivo NEX in India online on Amazon.in at a price of Rs 44,990. For that price, you get an 8GB ram device with 128GB of storage and is powered by the high end Snapdragon 845 processor. One other popular phone in this price range is the OnePlus 6. How does Vivo Nex compare with OnePlus 6 ? Check out the detailed specs comparison below.
Performance & Software
Since both are powered by SD845 and has plenty of ram on board, both are gonna perform really well. If you are a stock Android lover and want to enjoy upcoming Android P in it's real form, i would recommend you to go for OnePlus 6 instead of Vivo Nex as the later runs on heavily modified FunTouch OS. The one on the OnePlus 6 is close to stock Android and there are already officially Android P Beta build available.
Display
There is no competetion here as the Vivo Nex offers a Full View screen with little to no bezels and no Notch. On the OnePlus 6, there is a Notch up top like the iPhone X. Both have Super AMOLED Full HD+ displays - so the viewing experience is going to be great.
Camera
OnePlus 6 has a 20MP + 16MP sensor on the back while Vivo Nex has a 12MP + 5MP Dual Camera setup on the back. It features a high end Sony IMX363 sensor with a bigger 1.4um pixel size which should give better low light images. Nex's camera supports AI HDR and AI Scene Recognition which are currently not available with OnePlus 6 devices. Since there is not notch on the front, Vivo Nex uses a Pop up front Camera which is unique and innovative.
Battery
OnePlus 6 only has a 3400mAh battery while the Nex has a bigger 4000mAh on board. This is Great.
Price
Vivo Nex 8GB ram 128GB variant is priced at Rs 44,990 while the base model of OnePlus 6 ( 6GB ram, 64GB storage ) is priced at Rs 34,999. OnePlus 6 8GB ram 128GB storage variant has a price of Rs 39,999 - cheaper than the Vivo Nex.
