Huawei has officially unveiled Honor Play with GPU Turbo in India. It will go on sale today at 4PM online on Amazon. Honor Play is priced at Rs 19,999 in India. It is available in 4GB or 6GB ram options with 64GB onboard storage.
Honor Play is powered by Kirin 970 AI Chipset which is the current flagship processor Huawei has. The same chipset powers other Honor devices such as Honor 10, Honor Note 10, Honor 10 GT etc. The high end, flagship Huawei P20 Pro is also powered by the Kirin 970. Kudos to Huawei for shipping this on a Rs 19,999 handset.
Looking at the Specs sheets of recently launched Huawei and Honor devices in this price range, only Honor Play has Kirin 970 on board. Huawei Nova 3i ( Rs 20,990 ) has less powerful Kirin 710 and P20 Lite ( Rs 19,999 ) has Kirin 659
