Xiaomi has officially unveiled Mi Mix 2S with a bezel less screen and Dual rear cameras. Mi Mix 2S will be available to purchase in India online on Flipkart / Amazon in coming weeks. Official MRP price is yet to be revealed.
Mi Mix 2S is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and has a 3400mAh battery on board. The display is a 5.5 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a completely bezel less design. There is no Notch like you see on Apple iPhone X. So you would be wondering where would they place the front camera. Xiaomi has placed it on the bottom chin - just flip around the device when taking selfies.
Talking about Cameras, unlike other Xiaomi devices, Mi Mix 2S scores really high in DxOMark benchmark tests ( 101 ). It has a 12MP F1.8 regular sensor on the back with a larger pixel size and a 12MP F2.4 aperture telephoto lens next to it. On the front you get a 5MP shooter. The rear camera supports 4 axis image stabilization. 4K recording at 30fps is supported.
Since there is no space for anything on the front, the Fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone, which in my opinion is the ideal place to have it. The build quality of the phone is premium. It has a ceramic curved back which also supports wireless charging making it the first device from Xiaomi with such a feature.
