Carl Pei, the co-founder on OnePlus Mobiles has confirmed to The Verge in an interview, the upcoming OnePlus 6 will feature a Notch. It will be smaller than the Notch we saw on iPhone X, but bigger than the one on the Essential phone.
Carl Pei claims that the Notch design is actually a good thing. “What you are essentially doing is moving the entire notification bar up, giving users more content on their screen.”. The Verge also got a sample product photo ( attached below ) from OnePlus showcasing the front of the phone.
