Moto G6 Play is priced a little bit lesser than the Moto G6. Naturally the specs are not that awesome as it's more expensive sibling. It is powered by Snapdragon 430 Octacore processor and comes with 3GB of ram and 32GB of storage. Even though the Play variant also feature a 5.7 inch Display with Gorilla glass 3, the display resolution is just 720P HD instead of Full HD. On the back, there is only a single camera - a 13MP F2.0 aperture one. On the front, you get a 8MP shooter for your selfies.
As you can see from the specs, Moto G6 is overall a better device when you look at the specs sheet. However, there is one area in which Moto G6 Play trumps regular G6 - Battery. Moto G6 Play is equipped with a bigger 4000mAh battery which can easily last a day of moderate to heavy usage. Having an HD screen instead of Full HD would also help to increase the battery life.
