Samsung has launched Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus globally. MRP Price in India for these flagship smartphones will be announced soon. It will be available to purchase online on Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal in coming weeks. This is Samsung's first major flagship phone since the exploding Galaxy Note 7 smartphones were recalled.

Both features 2960x1440 curved Super AMOLED screens and unlike older Samsung flagship smartphones, do not come with a physical home key or capacitive buttons. There is a fingerprint sensor, however it's now on the back, near to the camera. Like S7, it has an IRIS scanner on the front which can be used to unlock your phone.
In the camera department, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus feature a 12MP F1.7 aperture rear shooter and an 8MP F1.7 aperture front camera. It ships with Android 7.0 Nougat based Touchwiz UI. Galaxy S8 has a 3000mAh battery while S8 plus features a bigger 3500mAh one.
Samsung is introducing a new personal assistant feature with Galaxy S8 series - Bixby. You can still use Google Assistant / Google Now though. Like older Galaxy S7, this will be available in a wide range of colors - Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Artic Silver, Maple Gold, Coral Blue. Both S8 and S8+ are water resistant and dust proof - IP68 certified.

Both are powered by the latest and the faster Qualcomm processor currently available in the market - Snapdragon 835 and have 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage.
