Amazon.in has started teasing the launch of a new Xiaomi smartphone - Redmi 4 / Redmi 4A / Redmi 4 Prime. These are budget Android smartphones and will be priced under Rs 10000. Redmi 4A will probably get an under Rs 5000 price in India. It is not clear Xiaomi will launch all three variants in India.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 specs and features
Redmi 4 is powered by Snapdragon 435 Octacore processor and comes with 2GB of ram and 16GB / 32GB of storage. Like Redmi 3S, this too feature a big battery - 4000mAh. MIUI 8 based on Android 6 Marshmallow runs the show. Xiaomi for sure will update this phone to Nougat base MIUI soon. In the camera department, Redmi 4 has a 13MP F2.2 main camera and a 5MP front shooter. The display is a 5 inch 720P HD one.
Redmi 4A is powered by Snapdragon 425 Quadcore processor and has 2GB of ram and 16GB of storage. Battery on board is smaller at 3120mAh. It too has a 13MP F2.2 / 5MP cameras and features a 720P HD display.
