Huawei's sub brand Honor have a strong presence in Indian market. Recently launched Honor 6X, Honor 7X, Honor 8 Pro etc have been received well. They have also launched Honor 9i with 4 Cameras - two on the back and two on the front - on Flipkart at a price of Rs 17,999. Now they are back with another Quad Camera smartphone.
Honor 9 Lite is the latest Honor branded device Huawei is launching in India. This is a Flipkart exclusive device. First sale date is yet to be announced.

It is powered by Huawei's home made chip - Kirin 659, which has Octa core processors inside. Honor9Lite is available in two variants - a 3GB ram variant and a 4GB ram one. The display on the Honor 9 Lite is a 5.65 inches, 18:9, bezel less Full HD+ screen with 2.5D glass for great viewing experience. It also features a glass back panel for great premium feel and looks. In India, it will ship with EMUI 8 which is based on Android 8 Oreo. It has a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, which is the best place to put it on a smartphone.
