HTC has just announced U11 EYEs, a mid-range Android smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. Expected price of this phone in India is Rs 29,999. Currently, there is no official launch date set for India. Once launched, it will be available to purchase online on Flipkart / Amazon.
HTC U11 EYEs feature Dual Front Cameras. Since the launch of iPhone X, many manufactures are now shipping their new phones with Face Unlock features, which in reality has been on Android for a while. U11 EYEs features Dual 5MP F2.2. aperture cameras on the front that support Face Unlock, Portrait mode, Bokeh mode, AR effects etc. You can refocus after the shot has been taken using the built in software, which is really a cool feature to have. On the back, there is an ultra pixel F1.7 aperture 12MP sensor.
It ships with Android 8 Oreo with HTC sense modifications. There is 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage plus a micro sdcard slot ( Hybrid sim ).
In the battery department, HTC has equipped this with quite a large battery - 3,930mAh one. It is IP67 certified ie Dust and Water Resistant ( but not as resistant as IP68 HTC U11+ ). It will be available in 3 different colors - Amazing Silver, Solar Red and Ceramic Black.
